Transmission of Diamond Way Buddhism

Posted on August 25, 2017August 25, 2017 by Dharma Documentaries
A look at Lama Ole, the founder of Diamond Way Buddhism, a European lay organisation teaching in the lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.

Transmission of Diamondway Buddhism

This is a very interesting homage to the Danish teacher and founder of the Diamond Way lay organisation, within the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.

The emphasis that comes across from his friends and students is one of great ability coupled with intergrity and kindness.

As he is an upholder of Trinley Thaye Dorje as the true 17th Karmapa there are also short interviews with Karmapa, but there are no interviews with Lama Ole himself in the film.

We see video and stills of Lama Ole in various roles, and hear mainly from the people who have been deeply affected by his presence in their lives.

The film is not the usual documentary format, but combines music and over exposed film, etc. to create a mosaic of reflections on this respected teacher.
