This is the first of two films about the natural world in Cambodia from Fauna in Focus. In this film the team focuses on conservation efforts being made by different active groups, including monastics, to help educate people and better preserve the rich diversity of wildlife in the kingdom.
The film looks at different ecosystems in the country, from the highlands in the north, to the lakes and jungles, and visits various projects and hears from local and international ecologists working in various fields of conservation.
The film has very high production values, is beautifully filmed, and narrated in Khmer, with hardcoded English subtitles. The film gives a good idea of the eco-diversity of the country and the many efforts being made to promote understanding and preservation of its wildlife.
