This is a very fine documentary from Cambodia about climate change, how it is affecting the world, what that means for us, and what we can do about it. It is made by the Fauna in Focus team, following on from their film The Kingdom of Nature last week. The film is hosted by in Khmer by Chea Samban, and there are subtitles in English and French.
The film is organised into chapters looking at the various aspects of the problem. How life on Planet Earth is interrelated; Melting Ice and Rising Seas; Extreme Weather events including Forest Fires; What Solutions are available and Our Future.
The film has unusually high production values, and is a fine introduction to the subject, and also stresses on what we can do right now: eat less meat, fly less, buy local, plant trees and have fewer children. Just as we are all part of the problem, so we all have to be part of the solution.
