Searching for the Lotus-Born Master

The first in a series of films about Guru Padmasambhava, the great teacher of Tibet.

Searching for the Lotus-Born Master

When the second Buddha appeared in Tibet in the person of Guru Padmasambhava, the Lotus-Born Master, he appeared in eight manifestations representing different aspects of his one true nature.

This is the first in a series of films by Laurence Brahm which travels over many countries and sacred pilgrimage sites in search of the masters of Tibetan wisdom, and their teachings, and particularly of these eight incarnations.

Along the way there are interviews with many teachers, historians and writers, as well as Buddhist monks and adepts, who help guide us through the complexities of this ancient wisdom.

Laurence likes to draw out parallels that exist between the ancient teachings and modern scientific discoveries like quantum energy, cryptography, and parallel multiverses. The films are gorgeously shot, and overlaid with modern graphics which enhance already colourful and engaging images.
