There are many videos on youtube these days which are basically slideshows made from photographs, with musical accompaniment, and incidental captions.
This is a 20-minute slideshow that was made around the famous heritage site at Bagan, and is one of the better ones, having high-definition and well shot photographs, and a memorable subject.
I was in Bagan myself towards the end of 2011, but went down with pneumonia, and only managed to photograph a small part of the 2,000+ remaining temple sites.
It is an enchanting place, and is one of the finest medieval sites in the world, showing the remains of one of Buddhism’s finest kingdoms.
Especially noteworthy is the beautiful brickwork of the temples, which shows through even more now that they have lost their covering plasterwork.
