This is a film made by Jaques Vichet for The Lost Civilizations series about the rich and memorable temples found around the Angkor site in Cambodia.
The film starts by looking at the centrepiece of the Bayon temple, built by Jayavarman VII, which it explores at some length, showing the architecture, and the various types of reliefs found at the site. It then moves to the terraces and on to the Palace.
We then visit Angkor Wat, reputed as the largest temple in the world, and the iconic temples of Phra Khan and Ta Prohm, and others within the Angkor area, before finally visiting Banteay Shei, the most exquisite of the temples.
There is a fair amount of information given to explain the context, though not all seemed to me to be accurate, it nevertheless gives a sufficient overview of the site, and should be enough to give people a fair idea of the size and variety of the site.
