Dzogchen Buddhism

Posted on October 16, 2026October 9, 2026 by Dharma Documentaries
An introduction to Dzogchen Buddhism, its practice, history and preservation.

Dzogchen Buddhism

This is a complete introduction to Dzogchen Buddhism, starting with one of its deepest mysteries, the body of light at death, and exploring its history and meaning, and importantly what it is not.

It comes from the Buddha’s Wisdom channel, which I have featured here before, and is very well written and presented. The graphics are produced by AI, but without the glitches I have noticed on many other channels, indicating they have been carefully edited and vetted.

The story begins with the story of Garab Dorje and his body of light, and works itself round and round till it comes back to the same place, exploring how Dzogchen developed, how it differs from Zen, and how it was preserved in the modern world.
