This is a very interesting investigation into the largely forgotten Buddhist complex at Muara Jambi in Sumatra, which was probably one of the most renowned Buddhist universities of the ancient world.
Using AI drawings and voice the site in explored in eight chapters, which look at the Hidden Landscape, Srijijaya, the question of its status, its architecture, traditions and decline; before looking at its rediscovery and legacy.
The story is well-written and informed, and the presentation is engaging, but as with many of these AI creations, it lacks proper pacing, and the pronunciation is rather poor at times. Still if you don’t know anything about the site, this will give you some idea of its riches, and is therefore certainly worth your time.
